Mutamba Pods are an interesting addition to any isopod enclosure. They are aesthetically pleasing with their bumpy textured surface. Natural botanicals are beneficial for isopods and other invertebrates giving your terrarium that natural look and feel of nature which in turns makes it easier for your isopods to feel at home and go about their natural life processes.
These natural botanicals originate from Mutamba Tree (Guazuma ul-mifolia). Also known as the West Indian Elm they are found in the tropical regions like Brazil and Argentina.
Mutamba Pods are rough 3/4 to 1 inch diameter. Please do note that these are all natural and made by nature so each one is unique and will vary slightly in color and size. All botanicals we sell are light rinsed with RO water and oven baked to ensure they are fresh and ready for your isopod enclosure.
